A Different Kind of Painter

August 13, 2009

My good friend Michael Scapillati is a different kind of painter…he cares a great deal about lines and crisp edges. He’s a mega perfectionist, but the work he does requires it. Mike comes from a rich family lineage of perfectionists with paint & paper; they don’t lay it on canvas (though he has and to my dismay is pretty brilliant at that too) but on walls.

Mike has been featured here…and I have to say, I have always admired his talent and his outrageously high standards. I’m proud of him, he works hard at what he does and is pretty reat at it.

I’m really proud of you for the quality and care of work you do, I know aint easy.
